Documenta Display

After an articulated introduction about Documenta Kassel and the role of a curator in the contemporary art context, the students are requested to design an exhibition pavilion in the Auepark. At first they should decide, what sort of artwork will be shown there. To begin with, the pupils are invited to brainstorm, then to write a description and to draw the first sketches from which they choose the best to develop further in elaborated master drawings. Once they have clarified their ideas, the students should construct a model of their pavilion in the right proportions and simulate the construction materials.
