Ein Haus für Uri

The pupils of year 11 project a building which on their idea fits perfectly to Kanton Uri in Switzerland. With its steep mountains and its strong contrasts: stone and wood, horizontality and verticality, hot and cold winds. Their building should on one hand represent and fit to the topography, discuss the geographic particularities of the location and propose on the other hand an original function, possibly a building that does not exist yet in the area. They should curate accurately the choice of the material, the fitting to the topography, the proportions of the single parts. With drawings and a three-dimensional model, they visualize their idea.
