Object Studies
One of the basics in art education is to learn the difference between what we think we see and what we really observe. During the process of precise observation of a shoe, all its details will emerge and nuances of light and shade games will manifest themselves. Through drawing, the pupils will discover a universe they would never have supposed existed, thinking of a simple shoe as a common object. Through nature studies even young children sharpen their gaze and learn to know and to translate the visual phenomena in a two dimensional representation which will appear three-dimensional through its light and shade games.
