“Betrayal” @ The Last Last Supper, Leonardo e la visione ritrovata

The installation „Betrayal“ has been conceived by Barbara Fässler for the show “The last last Supper, Leonardo e la visione ritrovata”, curated by Antonio d’Avossa, which was held in two parts: In the skyscraper Pirelli in Milan (Place of Lombardy 28th Mai-30th July 2015) and in Villa Burba in Rho (6th February-24th April 2016).

The work “Betrayal” consists of a sound-installation in a space with a round table and thirteen chairs.

The sound-installation is a cut up, a sort of free editing with sentences out of thirteen interviews with friends on the issue of “Betrayal”, because Leonardo underlines this very human theme trough the disciples gestures in his version of the Last Supper in Santa Maria delle Grazie in Milan.

On the table, a magazine with 13 contributions on the issue of Betrayal will be distributed to the public.

With contributions of:
Roberto Basile (Psychoanalist and Photograph)
Alessandro Castiglioni (Cultural Researcher and Art Historian)
Thanos Contargyris (Politician)
Antonio d’Avossa (Art Historian and Curator)
Gisela Hochuli (Performance-artist)
Armando Massarenti (Philosopher, Responsible Il Sole 24 ore Domenica)
Bruno Morchio (Psychotherapist and Author of Noir)
Steve Piccolo (Musician and Soundartist)
Cesare Pietroiusti (Artist and Psychiatrist)
Lidia Sanvito (Artist and Art Historian)
Gabi Scardi (Curator and Art Critic)
Stefan Wagner (Curator and Art Critic)
Stefano Zuffi (Art Historian)

The catalogue has been published by Silvana Editore.
