Don’t trust your Eyes
“Don’t trust your Eyes” is a project for a hypothetical group show, where each visitor gets a pair of glasses with colored eyeglass. Each person can choose his/her preferred color, either red, yellow, blue or green. In fact, the spectators enter the exhibition with those colored glasses on and perceive the artworks of the other artists as well as the exhibition spaces in the corresponding color. The idea of this participative artwork, which includes the audience in an active role, is to underline the relativity of human perception and the importance of the individual point of view in art reception. Every single one of the numerous spectators will create a different meaning of each artwork, considering the interaction between the pieces and the architecture as well.
