Chiralità

The performance was an interaction with the artworks of Oppy De Bernardo and Aldo Mozzini in the “Sotterranei dell’arte”, on Monte Carasso, Bellinzona. The performance was part of a larger event, a workshop with presentations and discussions starting from questions about time and space, inspired by Oppy’s and Aldo’s work. The participants were Alessandro Castiglioni, Ermanno Cristini, Simone Frangi, Marzia Rossi and Lidia Sanvito. In her intervention, Barbara Fässler pushed herself in Aldo’s wooden boat from one side to the other in the underground space and layed 100 colored paper boats by and by in the water. The paper boats contain feminine adjectives written in a reversed direction, which can be read correctly mirrored in the water.
