Compositions

The three pictures of the series are all photographed in the Varesine area of Milan, where in just a few years a lot of skyscrapers have grown into a huge Real Estate operation which has provoked the resistance of the nearby Isola neighborhood. In the 3 Compositions – in Blue, in Green and in Gray – the title is a slightly modified quote from Mondrian’s titles of the Neoplastic Movement, as much as the Compositions are modified, containing oblique lines and not primary colors.
