Aha, sarebbe bellissimo esserci

“Aha, it would be marvelous to be there”, was an installation with a slide-projection in the inaccessible exhibition space Zone c/o Graffio in Bologna, a project by Anteo Radovan. The event has been curated by Mario Gorni, ex-director of Care/of and the title is a quote from the artist Giancarlo Norese. The public, who has not been allowed to enter the space, however, has been able to watch the projected pictures through a window with an orange filter. In the slide-show, 29 photographs have each been altered with a sentence extracted from emails the artist received more or less randomly. The pictures from the artists archive have been placed alongside the chosen sentences. The combination of the two elements – visual and textual – generates a new, unexpected meaning.
