Redetour, Work in Progress

Harm Lux’s project “Redetour, Work in Progress” was articulated in two experimental art spaces: De Fabriek in Eindhoven, Holland and Shed im Eisenwerk in Frauenfeld, Switzerland and included the construction stage as a visitable period as well as a final exhibition. The artists worked for several weeks in both spaces and lived this collective constructive experience together.

Barbara Fässler has built three tents in each space, made of red, green and yellow transparent plastic and has invited other artists in order to perform inside them. The artists appeared so “colored” to the viewing public. During the whole construction period, Barbara Fässler recorded video pictures, which she mounted on six videos, she showed in the final exhibition on the monitors installed inside the tents. In Eindhoven, she showed the videos from the work in progress in Frauenfeld and viceversa.
