Work in Progress

“Work in Progress” is part of a video series, which registers 5 minute long excerpts from daily life with a fix camera. The videos function as if they were photographs, with the essential difference that their content is moving slightly. In order to vanish figuration and to become aware of our gaze or to underline the fact that we see a representation of reality, the pictures are elaborated with colored filters. In “Work in Progress” four video recordings from private life have been confronted and built together into one image: dancing and playing children with some natural phenomena as the movement of water in the sea and in a stream.
