Paradossi dell’amicizia / Io & te

Testo italiano in basso

Me & You

The Me & You project was born from a need for fruitful exchange. The act of production is visible as a pre-critical phase in the creative process, during which the work confronts itself before being brought before the public. The pairs are composed of inter-related artists. A friendly volley arises from a continuous dialectic exchange of ideas about art, life and living together. Thus, the usual monologue expressed by the individual artist becomes a dialogue between two points of view, two ways of thinking and two approaches. The Paradoxes of Friendship are expressed in a perpetual flux between proximity and distance, between conflict and harmony and between fighting and reconciliation. Just as there are infinite ways of existing on an individual level, so are there endless forms of coexistence. Me & You portrays a wide range of personal and professional couples: lovers, husbands and wives, sisters, study mates, scientific colleagues, occasional business partners, relational artists. It testifies to the fact that the various relationships can manifest themselves in different forms, with different materials and poetic differences.

Io & Te
